Abstract:
As a new type of porous metal material, closed-cell aluminum foam has been used in many fields, but its compressive mechanical properties are affected by porosity, pore structure parameters, relative density and basic mechanical properties of the material. Therefore, for a new type of product developed by a closed-cell aluminum foam enterprise, after determining its relevant parameters, ten groups of samples were subjected to compression mechanics experiments to determine its stress-strain curve, and the significance of each section curve and its generation mechanism were analyzed. According to its special compressive mechanical properties, the energy absorption performance under external force was studied, which provided technical support and reference for the application of modified closed-cell aluminum foams in various industries.
