Abstract
The electrochemical performances of different compositions of high-activated aluminum alloy sacrificial anodes in tap water and diluted sea water have been determined with two methods compared with that of commercial magnesium alloy anodes. The results show that the electrochemical performances of the aluminum anodes are steady in tap water, and they should be applied in heaters and boilers with adjusted compositions and improved manufacturing processes.
