The Development of Welding Materials abroad and Suggestions on Developing of Flux Cored Wire Industry in China

The development of welding materials(especially the flux cored wire) abroad is introduced synoptically in this paper at first. Then, the work on the development of high efficiency welding materials, and the improvement of the operational characteristic and mechanic performance of MAG welding wire were reported. Finally, some suggestions were made about how to propel the development of the flux cored wire industry in China.
