Abstract
The rapidly quenching NdFeB magnetic powders are clad by different organic materials. The oxidation behaviors of the NdFeB magnetic powders are systematically studied. The mechanical and magnetic properties of the bonded NdFeB magnets produced by the cladding powders are preliminarily investigated. The experimental results have shown that the properties of both the powders and the bonded NdFeB magnets can be improved by organic surface treatment of epoxy resin adhesives, especially that of silicohydride.
