Effects of Heat Treatment on Electrochemical Properties of LPC(NiCoAlMn)5.0 Hydrogen Storage Alloy

  • Effects of heat treatment at 673K, 1173K, 1373K on electrochemical properties of hydrogen storage alloy including activity, discharge capacity and large rate discharge capacity have been investigated. The results show that the cycling stability and large rate discharging capacity of the alloy are improved after treatment separately at 1173K and 1373K.The alloy treated at 1173K has good electrochemical comprehensive properties of which the cycling stability and large rate discharge are bettered obviously and the maximum discharge capacity at 0.4C charging and discharging is equivalent to that of the cast.
