Determination of the Resin Content in Friction Material Reinforced by Fiber

  • A friction material is mainly made of carbon fiber, steel fiber and FB phenolic resin. The effects of the resin content on friction performance and mechanical performance are investigated.Based on test,the lowest content of resin 16%, and the optimum content of resin 22% are suggested.
