Application of High-frequency Fusion Process in Wear-resistant Material Preparation

  • High-frequency fusion process(HFP) is a process that takes high-frequency induction as heat source to fuse the metal powders. The investigation introduced the principle of HFP,and the method of making specimen. Based on the manufacture of high-chromium cast and low-alloyed wear-resistant steel, the feasibility to develop wear resistant material by HFP are discussed.
