The Research Progress of the Marine Natural Product Antifoulants
Many kinds of marine natural products have antifouling activity. It is an effective way to develop the non toxic antifouling coatings by using natural antifoulants.In this article the antifouling activities of marine plants, marine invertebrates and marine microorganism are reviewed. The prospects of antifouling research are discussed.
