Effects of Heat Treatment on Microstructure and Property of D707 Cemented Carbide Surfacing Layer

  • In this paper, the microstructure, hardness and wear resistance of D707 cemented carbide surfacing layer through various heat treatments was investigated. The results showed that the surfacing layer under 850℃ air cooling, 850℃oil cooling and 400℃ tempering had higher hardness and the abrasion loss was 6~12 times less than that of low alloy steel 35CrMo under carbonitriding.
