Effect of LDA on Property of Low Smoke Polyether Polyurethane Adhesive

  • Low smoke polyurethane adhesive were prepared from polyether polyol(N220), toluene diisocyanate, trimethanol propane and LDA. The transmittance of smoke signal at high temperature and the bonding and technical properties of the adhesive were tested. The results revealed that the smoke signal of adhesive can be reduced by increasing the content of LDA. The bonding and technical properties are related to the content and diameter of LDA. The polyurethane adhesive which contains 60g 200 mesh LDA per 100g resin possesses lower smoke,higher bonding strength and good technical property.
