Abstract
Ru-Ti-Ir-Sn oxide coated electrodes with various composition have been prepared by thermal decomposition. The oxide coating electrochemical property and physical property analyses indicate that with the addition of Ir and Sn oxide, although the electrode anti-oxide corrosion performance is improved,the electrode separate chlorine catalyzing activity is reduced, the morphology of oxide coated surface is loosened and more TiO2(A) and α-Ti phase present in the coating which may be the main causes for the rise of oxide coated separate chlorine potential.
