  • Surface hardening layer in Cr12MoV steel was abtained by the treatment combining boronizing and a new plasma source nitrogen ion implantation. XPS analysis and property test results show that the main microstructures of the layer are cubic boron nitride(C-BN) and FeB and the hardness and wear resistance of the hardening layer are high.
