Synthesis of Antibacterial Copper Zeolites

Use of zeolites and antibacterial copper ions to synthesize antibacterial zeolites with the methods of liquid and solid ion exchange is discussed in this paper. The orthogonal test method is the better of these two methods, and these two methods were compared. The best conditions of synthesis are respectively: concentration of CuSO4 of 0.1mol·l^-1 and 0.02mol·l^-1;temperature of 60℃ and 550℃;time of 4h and 1h. The microwave heating method to synthesize antibacterial zeolites was tested. Synthesis by microwave heat can save time and material.
