Effects of Heat Treatment on Hardness and Corrosion Resistance of Ni-P Electroless Coating

  • The effects of heat treatment on hardness and corrosion resistance of Ni-P electroless coatings are investigated. The results show that the hardness of Ni-P、Ni-Co-P、Ni-Co-P/SiC coatings gradually ascend to the peak as the temperature of heat treatment goes up. Meanwhile, the rates of corrosion increase to the maximum after the coatings are heated at 400℃.
