Study on Micro Hardness and Conductivity of Cu-Cr-Zr Alloy

  • The effects of aging and cold deforming on micro hardness and electrical conductivity of Cu-Cr-Zr alloy are studied in this paper. The results show that for the alloy solution treated at 920℃ for 1 hour,the higher micro hardness can be obtained when aged at 450℃ and the higher conductivity can be obtained when aged at 600℃ and cold deforming before aging is beneficial to improvement of the conductivity for it will accelerate the precipitation of the secondary phase of the alloy.Compared with 51.79%IACS as aged at 500℃ for 0.5h, the conductivity of the alloy 60% deformed reaches 72.02%IACS with the same aging treatment.
