An Investigation on the Performance of a Shape-stabilized Thermal Energy Storage Material

  • The thermal performance of a shape-stabilized energy storage material Na2SO4/SiO2 is investigated. The thermal analysis by DSC indicates that the material is efficient in energy storage with the thermal energy storage density 180J/g to 210J/g, which is 1.5~2.5 times that of sensible ceramics, and is stable to thermal shocking.
