An lnvestigation on the corrosion Behavior of TB-19 Alloy
The corrosion behavior in seawater of high strength titanium alloy TB-19 forgings is investigated. The results manifest that the alloy prove resistant to seawater with an erosion rate 0.00029mm/a in the 10m/s flow and an stress corrosion factor 55.15MPa·m1/2 remaining uncorroded after 1000h uniform corrosion test in 60℃ seawater.
