Abstract
The wear lay of 6-6-3 copper alloy is fabricated on the 45 steel matrix by sintering technology. The connection of the bimetal, the technology affecting the connecting strength of the bimetal and the mechanical properties of the copper alloy wear lay are investigated. The result manifests that when the shape-irregular 6-6-3 copper alloy powder is formed under 400MPa, the sintered wear lay with uniform microstructure could be obtained which is well bonded to the 45 steel matrix with the shear strength of the bimetal is up to 95MPa and if the bimetal is reformed under 800MPa before sintering, the wear resistance of the sintered wear lay will reach the ceiling.
