Progress of High Damping Foam Metal Metrix Composite
The damping theory of metals metrix composite and viscoelestic materials are reviewed in this paper. It is pointed out that the optimum high damping composite with structural performance could be made of metallic and viscoelestic materials.The possible approaches to developing foam metals metrix composite are discussed.
