Abstract
The propertie of electroless plating Ni-W-P-SiC composite coatings is studied. The results show that the corrosion rate of the composite coatings is lower than that of 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel in HCl、H2SO4、H3PO4 and FeCl3 solutions.The corrosion rate of the composite coatings after heat treatment at 400℃ is lower than that of the coatings in plated condition.Both hardness and wearability of the coatings increase with the rising of heating temperature reaching their optimum values at 400~600℃,but will decrease sharply if the heating temperature gose up further. The both also increase as heating-treatment time extension and reach the optimum values after 3 hours of heating at 400℃.
