Spheroidizing Mechanism and Practice of Eutectic Carbidesin Low Tungsten White Cast Iron

  • The influence of modification with Ce, K and Na on the structure and the properties of tungsten alloy white cast iron (TAWCI) was investigated. The result shows that the morphology of eutectic carbides is changed into spheroidite under normal heat treatment condition and the mechanical properties especially the impact tounghness of TAWCI are improved, so the resistance to impact wear is increased obviously.
