Embrittlement of copper tubes used in compressor was analyzed by means of metallography and SEM.The result shows that high oxygen content of the copper tubes caused inverse hydrogen embrittlement for the oxygen was reduced by acetylene in braze welding,which contributed to the copper cracking.
