Analyses of Microstructure of Electrolytic Low-Ti Al-alloy

  • The microstructure of electrolytic low-titanium alloy and master alloy in different state including in cast and heat treated is studied by means of XRD、SEM and TEM.In 6009 alloys,spherical Mg2Si is the dominant strengthing phase.Spinodal transformation is obviously occurred during the aging in electrolytic low-Ti Al-alloy.Spherical Mg2Si is more dispersive.The result shows the property and the microstructure of electrolytic low-titanium alloy are better than that of master alloy.
