Influence of Chemical Composition on Performance of Glass-ceramic/Metal Composite Decorative Material

A new construction decorative material,glass-ceramic/metal composite is introduced.In the process of fabrication of the material,the adopted composition of base glass is a key factor to determine the bonding quality of the glass-ceramic and metal.The properties of base glass and glass-ceramic and the composite are analyzed by means of XRD,DTA.The results indicate that with the composition of base glass ZnO/Al₂O₃＞1,the glass-ceramics natch the metal well and the composite has good bonding strength.
