Progress in Developments of Ferrite Electromagnetic Wave Absorbing Materials

Electromagnetic wave absorbing mechanism of ferrite materials is introduced,and the development status of ferrite microwave-absorbing materials is summarized,and then Fe₂O₃/Al₂O₃ composite ferrite absorbent is prepared with SHS method.Tests show that the real permittivity decreases and the loss peak moves toward to high frequency with the increase of Al₂O₃ content which suggest that the loss peak of absorbent can be adjusted by controlling the content of Al₂O₃.
