Influence of Heat Treatment on Lubricated Frictional Wear Properties of In-situ VCp/Fe Composite

  • The influence of heat treatment on frictional wear properties of in situ VCp/Fe composites in lubricated condition was investigated.The result shows that the microstructure of heat treated VCp/Fe composites is optimized,the wear resistance is much better than that of cast VCp/Fe composites and normalized 45 steel and under the condition of different load,the wear resistance of the composites treated with quenching and tempering at low temperature is better than that of the composites through other heat treatment.
