Preparation and Properties of PZT Powder and PZT/PVDF Piezoelectric Composites

PZT powder was prepared by using sol-gel technique.X-ray diffraction and SEM examination showed that the PZT powder is perovskite crystal,and the diameter of the PZT powder is between 0.1¹μm.A PZT/PVDF piezoelectric composite was made through incorporation of the PZT power into PVDF polymer matrix by means of solution blending.Experiment indi-cates that the piezoelectric constant of the composite increases with the incvease of PZT content and reaches maximum when the volume content of PZT is 70%.
