Synthesis of Gyrolite and Its Absorption Performance to Cs+ and Sr2+

  • Gyrolite powder was prepared by hydrothermal method and absorption performance of as prepared powders was studied.The results indicate that using CaO, SiO2, MgO, Fe2O3 and Al2O3 as raw materials, gyrolite and ion-doped gyrolite can be prepared by hydrothermal method under 240℃ and 7days curing.The absorption of gyrolite to Sr2+ is better than that to Cs+.Ion doped gyrolite has better absorption performance than pure gyrolite.
