Synthesis of Gyrolite and Its Absorption Performance to Cs⁺ and Sr²⁺

Gyrolite powder was prepared by hydrothermal method and absorption performance of as prepared powders was studied.The results indicate that using CaO, SiO₂, MgO, Fe₂O₃ and Al₂O₃ as raw materials, gyrolite and ion-doped gyrolite can be prepared by hydrothermal method under 240℃ and 7days curing.The absorption of gyrolite to Sr²⁺ is better than that to Cs⁺.Ion doped gyrolite has better absorption performance than pure gyrolite.
