Study on the Low Power Loss of NiCuZn Ferrite

  • (Ni0.32Cu0.1Zn0.60)O(Fe2O3)0.98 ferrite was prepared by traditional ceramic process.Effects of V2O5 additives on the sintering behaviors and magnetic properties of NiCuZn ferrites were investigated.It was found that the minimum power loss as low as 275.7kW/m3(measured at a frequency of 50kHz,magnetic field 150mT and temperature of 100℃)for a homogeneous and fine-grained microstructure was achieved for sample with 0.12%(w) V2O5,decreased by 40% compared to the sample without adding V2O5.
