Effect of Mo、Ni on Strength and Toughness of Welding Metal of Base Electrode

  • The effection of C、Mo、Ni on strength and toughness of welding metal welded by base electrode in this article.The result indicates that the effect of C on increasing of strength is limited,and the Mo can increase greatly the strength but sharply reduce the toughness of welding metal. For decreasing the disadvantage of Mo,the addition of Ni in welding metal is necessary.
