Finite Analysis and Strength Experimental Research on Shape Memory Alloy Hybrid Composites

  • To embed shape memory alloy(SMA)into composite laminates makes the whole material able to be driven.The interface between shape memory alloy and composite has great influence on mechanical property of material.Finite element analysis is used in simulating performance of shape memory hybrid composite.Contrast with the result of mechanical experiment,it is found that finite element method has good effect on simulating stress distribution of shape memory alloy hybrid composite.Shape memory alloy has not great influence on strength of the composites.
