Failure Analysis of Stainless Steel Wire of 200 Series
By means of SEM,EDS and metallography microscope,the fracture reasons of stainless steel wire of 201 and 200Cu were analyzed. The results show that un-stability of austenitic phase brought about corrosion between grain boundary easily,and the un-equality stress during drawing brought about small cracks and then expand at the following drawing process which resulted in the failure.
