Electrochemistry Test Methods of Anti-corrosion Coatings

Application of corrosion electrochemistry methods such as EIS,ENM and MCPDP in the evaluation of the corrosion protection property of organic coatings is reviewed and the general principle and characteristics of the electrochemical evaluation for coatings are described.It indicated that the electrochemical methods are fast,accurate,easy and can provide much quantitative or semi-quantitative information about coating failure and substrate corrosion.
