Growth of Cuprous Oxide under the Liquid of Sodium Nitrate

Main factors which influence the preparation,reaction of Cu₂O powder such as the reaction temperature,reaction time,and dosage of sodium nitrate solution are investigated,and an optimal experiment of the hydrothermal synthesis was conducted.The results indicate that reaction at 373K for 2 hours with a dosage of sodium nitrate solution four times as much as that of the reactive solution is optimized with which 8 μm cubic particles could be yielded.
