Cause and Prevention of Tensile Fracture Defect of Ship Plate

For the delamination and severe center segregation of ship plates appeared after tensile test,through analysis of the characteristic of tensile fracture,and classification of the fractures,the causes of difference fractures are discussed,the measures to prevent the fracture defects are proposed and the impacts of the fracture defects on the mechanics performance and service life of ship plate are reviewed.
