Progress of Fabrication of Low-dimensional Metallized Nanomaterials on Templates of Biological Molecules(Ⅱ)

  • Research progress on fabrication of low-dimensional metallized nanomaterials on self-assembly templates of protein and DNA molecules is discussed in the paper.The protein molecules can self-assembly to form different hierarchical nanostructures,and DNA molecules can self-assembly to form nanowires and networks in nanoscale.1D or 2D metallized nanostructures can be fabricated on these templates,and they have potential to be utilized in such fields as nano-devices and nano-circuits,electric-magnetic composites and controlled release vehicles due to their magnetic property,high current-conduction and special quantum effect.
