Synthesis technology and formation mechanism of carbon encapsulated metal nanometerials,such as arc discharge,chemical vapor deposition,pyrolysis,low temperature pyrogenation,cumulative method,detonation method and mechanical milling is described.Application of the carbon encopsulated metal nanometerials in the fields of electromagnetic storage,micro-electronics technology,biological medicine,catalytic materials and optical radiation is introduced.
