Research on High Strength and Toughness Super-thick Plate of 10CrNi5Mo Steel

In this paper,the high stength and toughness super-thick plate of 120mm has been researched and developed.Comprehensive performance of industrial trial-produce plate has been researched by mechanical properties analysis,fracture appearance and microstructure observation.The results show that,by NiCrMo composition design,industrial trial-produce 10CrNi5Mo super-thick plate obtains upstanding comprehensive performance and exhibits high upper Charpy impact energy and excellent low temperature toughness.
