Narrow Gap Metal Arc Gas Welding of 10CrNi5MoV Steel Thick Plate

Taking the 10CrNi5MoV steel thick plate as example,butt welding experiment of narrow gap gas metal arc welding was conducted and analysis of mechanical properties,microstructure and micro hardness were carried out.The results show that the welded joint has fine mechanical properties,microstructure in the welded seam contains mainly bainite with a little acicular ferrite and granular bainite,microstructure in the overheated zone contains mainly bainite,the most micro hardness located in the heat-affected zone.
