Study on Porosity of TiO2 Electrode for Preparation of Titanium by Electrolysis in Molten Salt Ⅰ.Adhesive and Molding Process

  • TiO2 electrode was designed by compaction molding process which is used to preparative titanium by electrolysis in molten salt.The effects of adhesive and molding process on the porosity of TiO2 electrode were studied.The results showed that the TiO2 electrode with sufficient porosity could be obtained by molding process under the pressure of 5MPa when the volume of adhesive solute was 7% with a concentrate of 5%.
