Effect of Heat Treatment on Microstructure and Corrosion Resistant of 22MnCrNiMo Mooring Chain Steel

  • The microstructure and corrosion resistant of new 22MnCrNiMo mooring chain steel after different heat treatment has been systematically studied to investigate the changes of microstructure and corrosion resistance of mooring chain steel under different heat treatment conditions.The results show that the 22MnCrNiMo mooring chain steel with high mechanical property and corrosion resistance can be obtained when it is double rapid quenched at 930℃and then tempered at 620℃ for 30min,which providing a good reference for the development and industrialization of R4S senior level mooring chain.
