Abstract
CDW was employed to get Fe-Al welds for investigation of the influence of heat treatment on structure and performance of Fe-Al welds interface.Apart of the welded joints were heat-treated.The microstructure chemical composition and performance of the Fe-Al welded joints before and after heat treatment were compared and analyzed by means of microscope X-ray energy spectrometer and microscope of Vickers hardness tester.There sult shows that the Fe-Al intermetallic compounds around welded interface are formed after heat treatment.Iron content of fusion zone of welded joints after heat treatment is higher than the non-heat-treated.The hardness of interface is higher than matrix due to diffusion of Feand Alatoms in the fusion zone of Fe-Al welded joints.The hardness of the inter face of welded joints after heat treatment is higher than the non-heat-treated.Heat treatment promotes the formation of intermetallic compounds and helps to improve the performance of welded joints
