  • Besides the characteristics such as great hardness wear resistance and chemical stability what are possessed by the borides in common the light metal(include Li、Mg、Al、Be、Na)borides have some novel particular performance. The basic characteristics preparation techniques and applications of the selightmetal borides are summarized in the paper.
