Ni3S2, α-NiS and NiS2 nanocrystals were synthesized by the reaction of nickel nitrate and thiourea in ethylene glycol via a solvothermal process.The products were characterized by XRD and TEM.The results show that both the temperature and the molar ratio of nickel nitrate to thiourea put a significant effect on the phase and morphology of nickel sulfide powders.
