Research of Corosion Resistance of Welded Joints of 10Ni2CrMoV Steel in Seawater

The corrosion behavior of 10Ni2CrMoV steel joints made with different welding technology had been studied with indoor exposure tests and electrochemical tests.The results indicate that the corrosion resistance of weld metal is the worst and that of heat-effacted zone is the best among the three zones of weld joints,the corrosion resistance different zones of same joint is dependent on the chemical compositions and microstructure of the zones.The higher the linear energy of welding process,the better the corrosion-resistivity,which results in the higher corrosion-resistivity of submerged arc welding joint than that of manual welding joint.
