Influence of Thermal Treatment Processing on the Photocatalytic Activity of Lanthanum Doped Titanium Dioxide

  • The nanometer TiO2 powders doped with La3+ in a molar fraction of 2% was prepared from Ti(OC4H9)4 and La(NO3)3 by sol-gel processing.The influence of thermal treatment processing on the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 was investigated through degradation of TNT.The results showed that the fitting thermal treatment temperature of sample is 500℃,the temperature rising rate is 10℃/ min and the activation time is 2 h,the degradation of TNT is 96% within 60 minutes.
