The Study on Dispersing Mechanism of Dispersant in BaTiO₃ Ceramic Slurry

Dispersant can reduce the gathered material in dispersion system.In the preparation of BaTiO₃ ceramic slurry,addition of dispersant is helpful for formation of dispersion and suspension.In this paper,the influence of dispersant upon the particle shape of slurry is analyzed,and the following conclusion is obtained that the increase of thickness of electric double layer will enlarge the electrostatic repulsive power between particles,and then suspension is stabilized relatively.
