Effect of Solution Treatment on Corrosion Resistance Property and Microstructure of 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb Steel

  • The corrosion resistance property in artificial seawater of 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb steel after different heat treatment processes was investigated by electrochemical tests and the microstructure was analyzed.The results indicated that the corrosion resistance property and hardness of the steel are improved after solution treatment for 60min at 1040℃ before the intermediate treatment and aging treatment.The main phases of the steel after the heat treatment are quenched martensite,some retained austenite and δ-ferritic and the grain size is uniform.
