Research and Development of the Electro-spark Surface Strengthening Technology

Electro-spark surface strengthening(ESS) technology is one of advanced surface engineering technology with many advantages such as energy saving,materials saving,environmental protection,flexibility,has been widely used in mold and tool strengthening.The characteristics of electro-spark surface strengthening technology,research status of the technology and latest progress are introduced.Suggestions on the intensive research and application of electro-spark surface strengthening technology are presented.
