Numerical Study of the Large Scale Ti/steel Clad Plate with Explosive Welding

  • In this paper,technological parameters is confirmed by experimental formula and technological test.Finite element software is used in numerical simulation of explosive welding process of large scale TA2/Q345R clad plate with thick clad.Displacement and combination is investigated via experiments.The simulation results indicate that the bond rate of the clad plate reaches the maximum when the explosive height is 47mm.This study provides a basis for explosive welding of large scale Ti/CS clad plate with thick clad.
